New Trading Entity & Stages of Expansion

Zingy Limited
was incorporated in July 2005, as the sister entity to Rakaunui Fruit Company. Zingy is to be a trading entity, sourcing grade one fruit from Rakaunui Fruit Company and other Hawke's Bay orchards, packing into branded packages and sold directly to the consumer.

Rollout will begin shortly, and the final stage of expansion expected to be reached within 1.5 years.

Our points of difference are: taste, quality, seasonality, healthy gift packs, and convenience of purchase.

We are selecting businesses where we would like to place a display stand containing Zingy products, to be sold directly to the consumer. We are choosing businesses where:

1. There is a symbiosis - like minded people want the products you sell and the products we have available for sale

2. Foot traffic to your shop will increase Zingy's exposure and where foot traffic to the Zingy stand would improve your store's exposure, and

3. The characteristics of your shop show that it is owned and operated by people who would represent our Zingy products well

Orchard management packages

Rakaunui Fruit Company (RFC) have the experience, industry contacts, integration, innovation, systems and people to extend control beyond its 4 current orchards. RFC has the natural advantage of being a New Zealand grower, a production site with a "clean and green, 100% pure NZ"age. Such positive connotations make for a successful brand for direct sale to the foreign consumer. Entities with the ability to fund growing, and the requirement for increased export volumes exist. There are also markets developing without a grade 1 supply of fruit, so there is demand for NZ fruit. So, depending on the market, RFC may be required to fill volume deficiency and or fill the varietal mix gap. Three Apples

Rakaunui Fruit Company, as a proven upper quartile Hawke's Bay fruit grower, with experienced managers and reputable industry figure as the RFC leader, has the ability to expand its orchards control. Moving into the next stages of the agribusiness horizons, RFC is ready to discuss any business arrangment.

Note, orchards with the right varietal mix but poor setup would still be an option
